Charitable contributions sent by mail are considered made on the date of the USPS postmark.
The USPS is giving notice that, after December 24, 2025, the postmark may not reflect the date that the check was placed in the mailbox. Instead, the postmark is the "date of the first automated processing operation." As a result, for example, letters mailed on December 31 may have a January post mark.
To ensure your gift is credited for the current tax year, we recommend mailing early, requesting a manual postmark at your local post office, using Certified or Registered Mail, or >making your gift online.
Your gifts support Geneva's Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor.
Beginning June 1, 2021 all gifts will be processed through the Geneva College Foundation a separate not for profit 501(c)(3).
If you have questions about making a gift, please contact the Geneva College Foundation by phone at 724.841.5063 or Email.
