Through this campaign we can advance faith and learning for the 21st century, integrating faith and learning and equipping students for This.
The $36.2m goal of our current campaign will help Geneva fulfill its mission by increasing the endowment, constructing the Dwight E. Wagner Welcome Center, and revitalizing Old Main. So far, an incredible $34.6m has been given and committed, but we're not done yet!
Your giving at this time will help us reach the remaining goal of revitalizing Old Main so it can continue to function at the heart of our campus for the next hundred years.
Key upgrades include converting former administrative offices back into much-needed classroom spaces, installing a comprehensive sprinkler system for safety, and significantly improving accessibility through the addition of an elevator and accessible restrooms on every floor.
At the heart of the building, John White Chapel will be transformed into a state-of-the-art performance and gathering space, enhancing recitals, concerts, lectures, and events for the entire Geneva community.
Discover the Vision

As we look to the future, your support is a vital part of preparing students in every academic major to walk a biblical view of life and the world into the marketplace.

This current campaign is the College's largest capital campaign in over two decades. Far beyond "campus improvements", the campaign seeks to ensure Geneva College's ability to increase enrollment, continue discipling students well, and be nationally known for diligently integrating faith and learning.
The Advancing Faith and Life Campaign consists of three objectives for Geneva College
Revitalizing Old Main will transform this iconic building, one that has been vital to Geneva College’s ministry of education since 1880, making it an educational hub for students and faculty for years to come. Students will experience Old Main as a center for academic community around faith and life integration. Recovered and improved classroom spaces will reinforce our commitment to a Christian liberal arts core curriculum.
The Welcome Center will transform campus and become the new home for admissions and alumni relations, making it the first campus stop for our many guests. It will have an immediate impact on enrollment, building on our increasing brand recognition and recruiting initiatives including the Geneva College Tuition Promise.
Long-term investment in our ministry of education is a condition for the strategic growth of the college. The Geneva endowment grows through current annual gifts and legacy gifts (wills and estates). Every $6 million invested in the endowment yields $240,000 in scholarship funds annually. (48 scholarships at $5,000 per student.) To support faculty growth, an endowment of $1 million yields $40,000 annually.
The purpose of our campaign goal is to ensure students will experience Old Main as a center for academic community promoting faith and life integration for years to come.
The complete remodeling of John White Chapel keeps faith with gifts and commitments supporting the vision of a state-of-the-art performance venue and lecture hall for the college. The renovated chapel is designed to provide accessibility for audience members and performers, performance-grade sound and lighting, and provide a space for a full range of events.
Geneva College is committed to making the entire building safe and accessible to our students, community members, and guests with mobility needs. The installation of an elevator, accessible restrooms on every floor, and HVAC and fire safety upgrades are necessary to accomplish this goal.
An at-grade (zero-clearance) entrance makes accessibility the standard—not a special accommodation. It creates a fully barrier-free path through the building—classrooms, offices, and gathering spaces included—so the heart of our ministry of education is genuinely open to all.
The mission of the Center for Faith & Life (CFL) is to prepare students in every academic program to walk a biblical view of life bringing vitality and flourishing to our communities throughout our nation and the world. The CFL will work to inspire a deeper understanding of the coherence of faith and life across our nation and the Church. The third floor of Old Main will house the offices for this important work.
The following opportunities enable you to meet a specific need in the renovation of Old Main:
For decades, Old Main has stood as a symbol of Geneva’s history and Christ-centered mission. This vital upgrade honors that legacy by ensuring that everyone—regardless of mobility—can fully participate in the life of the college.
To complete this project we need:

A new seat in John White Chapel will make a Kingdom impact as students, faculty and community members experience lectures, performances, and many other events.
Opportunities are available to name chairs in the chapel:

Increasing the Endowment
Long-term investment in our ministry of education is a condition for the strategic growth of the college. The Geneva endowment grows through current annual gifts and legacy gifts (wills and estates). Contributions towards the endowment support the college in the following ways:
Every $6 million invested in the endowment yields $240,000 in scholarship funds annually. (48 scholarships at $5,000 per student.)
To support faculty growth, an endowment of $1 million yields $40,000 annually.

Campaigns improve college campuses in significant ways. Success in this campaign will benefit Geneva’s enrollment, scholarship, financial sustainability, and the use of Old Main regardless of mobility. We are grateful for the generosity demonstrated by Geneva’s Boards, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends in this endeavor.
The ministry of Christian education at Geneva College helps build the kingdom of God by equipping students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor.

"Old Main is where Geneva’s mission first gripped my heart—where I learned to think biblically, work excellently, and serve others before myself. Restoring it isn’t just preserving a building; it’s investing in the next generation of Christ-centered leaders. I’m giving because what began in Old Main changed my life—and I want that legacy to continue."
